Students yes, probably. But just by comparing ICA with the biggest international associations for psychology and political science, we are massively outnumbered. Plus as we’re in an integrative social science, many of us publish in psych and political science journals as well.
Is your point that comm science journals should publish more articles? Because I cannot keep up with the amount of publications relevant to my interest now 😅
Also, aren’t both pol science and psychology many times larger as fields than comm science?

Dreamt that I taught an elementary school class tonight and now I don’t know what to do with that in my teaching philosophy 🤷🏻♂️
At some point, all classes gathered in a big auditorium for lunch and each class sang in a choir.

Guess heavily AI „assisted“ reviewer comments are our brave new age of peer review now lol… we’ll only get overly generic recommendations in lists of three applicable to a wide range of input texts and odd typesetter-level punctuation from now on.
Only consolation: The former we also got without AI.
Defrosted my freezer today and oh my the effort was ridiculous, but oh my the sense of accomplishment is insane. Wish I’d get that kick out of finishing my dissertation lol
You know what’s really relaxing after #ica25? Being able to sit in a café/restaurant as long as you wish, not being rushed out the second you put your fork down 🙌
