The problem with doing more obscure things is that LBMS don’t make shield transfers 🤪 Baltic tribesman with a rather dubious hand painted shield design. I found some symbols related to the pagan tribes from that area and just went for it.

My Polish Lithuanian project hit a wall, problems with finding enough figure variety and other supply issues made me shelve it for now. Decided to go skirmish scale and fondle with my pile of Victrix plastic. It’s quite refreshing to make your own unique little chaps from the plastic pile of shame😂
This is so well done. 👌
Thanks mate, a surprisingly easy kit bash to do, and I've got some 3D heads knocking about that I can use to make a few more. Limited choices available for Petyhorcy cavalry and other assorted Cossack cavalry in 28mm. Which is a shame, as the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth army is a great project.
Sniffing glue and melting plastic on a sunny Tuesday afternoon in Norfolk.🤪😂
At the Last Supper Jesus declares that One of you will betray me, four will get book deals.
Happy Easter
Chilling on a sunny Saturday. I do love it when a new book arrives.
It’s just photo quality Matt printing paper
Homemade flags and a Pole on a pole, welcome to my exciting world😂
There’s Plunketts over in Caister too, random stuff going cheap with no guarantees that it wouldn’t give you a nasty dose of food poisoning.
I made a flag; amazingly, it looks vaguely like a flag. I shall print it, cut it out, and stick it on a flagpole and see if it looks ok with a figure to wave it.
If anyone wants to give it a whirl, please feel free to grab it and print it.
It's meant to be a 17th century Polish Haiduk regiment flag
Yet another Polish pony walloper 🤪
Plain cross or an added Madonna? Decisions decisions
Broke out Mr Tufty, the static grass machine to replenish my basing stock. Just leaving this selection of greenery to go tacky and then I can get in with a bit of basing.
Mr Tufty was a good investment.
Had a go at making a flag using a graphics program. It's for one of the German mercenary units in the Polish/Lithuanian force I'm currently working on. Not too bad for a first attempt.
Adding bling to the Polish/Lithuanian commonwealth cavalry I’m working on just got a lot easier. I might even use some of them to decorate my own nails😂
Going to cover how to use these in my next YouTube video.
They do look rather pretty painted up, and yes, that is a Oldhammer Kislev figure carrying the standard😂
It’s a daunting task!! Three down , eight to go. Spending today’s hobby time cleaning up more metal castings for this Winged Hussar unit and getting them all undercoated. I’m a perpetual non-achiever on everything I do, so I’m hoping I can change that and get this boyhood dream army onto the table..
It’s time!!
I’ve wanted to paint a 28mm Polish/Lithuanian Commonwealth army for years, but never felt capable of doing it justice. Finally decided to do something about it before I shuffle off this mortal coil.
I think it’s possibly fumes from the plastic cement, or too much brush licking🤪
A trouser dilemma 🤔
Fashion Victims😳
I had to look up the details in my big boys book of Bavarian bits n bobs🤪 Painting Napoleonics can be torture, but they look great when you get them done.
It’s a dangerous pastime 😂
My first attempt at “sponging a pony” please don’t report me to the Authorities 😂
No problem, hope you find it useful. I’ll post results of my endeavours.

I’ll find the video and share the link.
The latest addition to my painting arsenal, yep make up sponges 😂
Going to have a crack at using them to speed up my horse painting process as I’ve got a shedload of Bavarian pony wallopers to paint. Watched a video on YouTube how they do it and the results look quite good.
