Went and watched The Lego Batman movie tonight and this was fun! I had a couple issues with it here and there but its overall enjoyable! Batman is a little insufferable at times but like he gets better so thats nice lol. Nice to get around to this one finally!

After starting it a month back and only today getting to finish it, I beat Platypus Reclayed alongside @alfe5.bsky.social! This was a cool game she showed me and playing the co-op together was very fun and chill. I really enjoyed the art style and schmup gameplay, an easy recommendation!

I watched Ratatoing tonight and this was...garbage LMAO. Legit I felt my soul leaving my body as I watched this piece of slop but it had some entertaining moments such as the terrible walk cycle of a cat. Tough to sit through, but at least its short?

Went and beat Neon White today and this game kicks ass! Tons of fun levels to go through, great movement and gameplay, and a great soundtrack helped make this a super fun and enjoyable experience that had me grinning along the way as I went for faster and faster times on levels!

Additional Yapping Hour! Characters: It's really hard not to go in depth about how great this cast was but I really enjoyed them all. Sholmes was easily my favorite character though Susato, Naruhodo, Van Zieks, and of course the boy Ryunosuke Naruhodo all made a stellar part of the main cast. The side characters and their animations absolutely made this game even more special, genuinely some of them causing me to laugh out loud! Gameplay: The jury system was so unique, but so familiar at the same time. I really liked how Naruhodo's "power" is so simple yet so effective at what it does and how it helps him in his courtroom cases. Otherwise you got your standard Ace Attorney gameplay which, hey, if it ain't broke right? Story: For the sake of not spoiling the story of a visual novel I would say I enjoyed this story, though I also know it's the first half of a grander story so its hard to rank it by itself obviously but for these first 5 cases it was a good intro to this cast, very intrigued as to how they will be expanded upon in the 2nd game. Soundtrack: Is it weird to say I think it's soundtrack was a little weaker? Idk, I did like a lot of what I heard but maybe I just need to sit on it more? Although I did appreciate how much more mellow it was, that was nice :) Overall this was, again, real good and I would probably place it in the middle of my Ace Attorney rankings for all the games. If I had to pick a favorite case maybe it was either Case 4 or Case 5? I'm not quite sure yet, something I will think on more over time :p
Last night I finished The Great Ace Attorney Adventures and this was a really solid entry in the AA franchise! Tons of good characters and story moments as well as a lot of interesting, fun, and downright hilarious characters. Now time to move onwards towards TGAA Resolve!

Saw this video game grid thing going around so I did one for myself. I am sure these opinions will change by next week for some of these lol. Tried to limit myself to one per series where possible
Additional Thoughts! (Spoiler Free) I knew going into this I heard criticism of the film but I wanted to be fair and give it my own personal view and thoughts. Overall though? Yeahhhhh I kinda see what others meant. Its a little bit of a mess in terms of story. Its got good action scenes and cool references but beyond that the substance isn't there. It feels like your standard kids film both in a good and bad way and I'm conflicted as a result of that. Every cast member was overall good, Charlie Day as Luigi especially just kills it (one line near the end of the film especially got the biggest laugh out of me). I think my biggest worry was Benny Safdie as Bowser Jr but he was genuinely fine. Really its just Chris Pratt Mario giving the most passable performance. I will say though, Glen Powell's (is it still a spoiler to say who? It was officially revealed so I guess its fine) Fox McCloud was wonderful. Easily could use a whole film of him and the rest of the Star Fox team. In the end I did enjoy this movie. Maybe its a solid 6 out of 10 jingling keys experience but that's not a bad thing to just turn the brain off a little and have fun with a film!
Watched the Mario Galaxy movie today and this was overall fine. I think its about as good as the first which was just okay. Like I appreciate the references but beyond that its kinda just throwing stuff at the wall to see what works. Its not bad, truly. Its just...okay!
