You may have heard that our county commissioners are afraid of books, the 1st Amendment, and trans kids. Join us as we engage in an activity a majority of our commissioners hate: reading.

Trick or treat. Vote for someone good for your street. Early voting ends November 1st. Election Day is November 4th.
Vote early at the Randolph County Board of Elections. On Election Day, vote at your usual voting location.
A picture of Donald Trump with tiny, balled-up fists. Text reads: The government has been shut down for 27 days, making it the second longest shutdown in history. The longest shutdown lasted 35 days, from December 2018 to January 2019. Imagine becoming President of the United States of America and the only records you broke were the longest government shutdowns and worst economy in recent history.
I'd say he should be ashamed, but he clearly has no shame.
We always enjoy your visits. Drop by anytime!
Had a great time with the @randolphdems.bsky.social tonight. Fired-up group ready to put boots on the ground and take the fight to every corner of this county. Let’s flip NC-09 together. #OjedaForNC #NC09

Wow. 😲 Randolph County mentioned in this article because ours is one of the 5 counties whose GOP incumbents on the board were swept out in favor of even more extreme right-wing nominees.

Hi folks! I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news but, we have been informed that the Habitat for Humanity workday scheduled for Saturday, May 31 has been cancelled. The ground is just too saturated from the recent rain to do the yardwork needed for this particular house.
Congratulations to our new slate of officers, just elected this morning.

Only two men have spoken on the floor of the U.S. Senate for more than 24 straight hours. One of them fought to keep Black people out of public life, the other was a Black leader who staged a landmark protest.
Today at 7:19 pm, Sen. Cory Booker surpassed Strom Thurmond’s longstanding record.
I recommend everyone read this article to see who stands to benefit from these unnecessary changes. It certainly isn't the students in the ACS system.

Cecile Richards was everything one would hope to see in a great leader. Her unwavering dedication to reproductive rights and women’s health has been an unrivaled inspiration to countless millions. This is a devastating loss. Keeping her loved ones in my thoughts today.
Today we celebrate the life, legacy, & enduring dream of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. - the vision of an America united as one. While this dream has been tested time & again, & will likely be tested for generations to come, it remains our duty on this day & every day forward, to keep that dream alive.
