One of the things I love that Joe Casey did in his retelling of the Yellowjacket story is making it clear that EVERYONE knows this is Hank Pym. They’ve worked closely with him for a long time. A new costume isn’t going to fool these people.

This is the “student” that was causing the Black Panther problems in his classroom, which is understandable, as he’s clearly 37.

Not a romantasy, but Perry Moore’s Hero is a great superhero romance. Even my husband liked and read it, and he doesn’t read very much at all. I’d also recommend Mackenzie Lee’s series of books that start with The Gentlemen’s Guide to Vice and Virtue.

I always thought I wasn’t a romance fan until I started reading same sex romance and then I realized how much I enjoyed the genre.

This is the catalyst for Hank Pym’s breakdown that causes him to create the Yellowjacket identity but I gotta say, if he’s worried that he can’t stand up to the powerhouses on the team, he should feel pretty good.

Stan Lee loved creating plans for the heroes to shout out, but his were usually just numbers, like “Maneuver 32!” That’s not nearly complicated enough for the Black Panther!

The books are so different! Roger Stern is writing a book that feels very modern for the 80’s. Steve Englehart is writing a book that feels very 70’s. I like the West Coast Avengers of this era, but Stern’s book stands the test of time better, IMO.

They look so good, as does everything you bake!

Certainly my preference too!
