New bird species at the feeder: Downy Woodpecker

George was NOT happy to go to the vet today.

I was happy because instead of running hundreds of dollars of follow up tests, they ran 2 blood tests which revealed healthier kidney functioning and stabilized potassium level.

For now we can take him home and watch his weight and water intake.

Is it just me or is this Titmouse extra tufted?

First the Titmice showed up at the feeder and now this unidentified pair of birds. What kind are they? #birdbuddy
