Since 1999, it seems. 26 years of battling cancer would certainly explain his prematurely aged look.
Congrats! That is an attractive bowl right there. I'm sure it's going straight to the pool room.
Graham Richardson was only 76?!?!
Hoo, all that factional powerplaying must've really messed with his DNA. I could've sworn he was in his mid-80s!

Today, Mike Johnson will keep the House adjourned for the 95th day out of the last 107.
12 days of work in 107 days.
With full pay and benefits.
The senate has been working, so this is not about the shutdown.
It is about avoiding a vote to release the Epstein files.
She believes in the sanctity of traditional Christian marriage.
Good grief…
It was old and needed a refresh (not least because it was still using http rather than https).
But, as here, web developers and IT change managers often prioritise form over function. To lose existing functionality in any IT 'upgrade' is to demonstrate that it's not an 'upgrade' at all.
The utter stupidity of pursuing a criminal trial against someone for throwing a sandwich that bounced off a bullet proof vest pissing away hundreds of thousands of dollars for this joke is the perfect encapsulation of this Administration.
“What we need is a sensible, modern approach to energy policy and hunting whales and killing them for their oil is exactly that"

I didn't say anything about what proportion of the bill you could take on the vibes, did I?
'Just' 17 points, Kyle? That's still a pretty healthy margin.

The idea that the city is evil and corrupt, and the countryside innocent and pure, goes back a long way: to Theocritus in Alexandria, and to the Old Testament. 🧵
Alternatively, by dissolving it in some liquid and drinking it. 🤷♂️
Whenever legislation is rushed through, you do have to wonder what the government is hiding, don't you?
By relying on a couple of cheat sheets:
1 - The explanatory memorandum for the bill; and
2 - The Parliamentary Library analysis of the bill.
Or by relying on advice from:
1 - Your own (admittedly very small and overworked) staff; and
2 - Commentary from others you trust (think tanks, etc.)
Kath and Jenny lost their sons following illegal robodebts, the ongoing secrecy of the NACC is compounding their trauma. They deserve answers and accountability.

Well that’s just shocking, @cathywilcox.bsky.social @ingridm.bsky.social, especially given that the Chancellor of ANU is *checks notes* … oh, as you were #auspol
When you look into Duffy's eyes, you can just see the absence of a calculating mind behind them.
It's not even that he has a mind but it's been clouded by drugs (as with so many others in the Trump Administration) but that there had never been a mind there at all.
1. MSNBC’s Ken Dilanian got his hands on an advanced copy of a new book that claims to reveal the nature of deliberations inside the US Department of Justice after the 2020 presidential election that “may have hampered the federal criminal investigations” of Donald Trump.
