Anticipating Fed announcement, I placed Wednesday morning's short conservatively. Still made money even with overall market lifting.

At noon, I sent a screenshot of #TSLA ticker to a friend annotated with strategy and a prediction of the closing price.

Here's the follow-up on that prediction.

If there was something Musk could do to pump this meme stock back up, he’d have done it by now. The WH car promo was all he had. Larger market also unlikely to float it up again soon. The Q1 earnings call at end of April will be a bloodbath.

To follow up, I did buy my short at close yesterday and sold it within 30 cents of the morning low today. Yielded 11.22% profit on the transaction.

Thanks to #TeslaTakedown, the market is opening its eyes to the #TSLA meme stock. No prior experience shorting stocks and the dependable downward slide gives me confidence to continue. Only regretting the conservative shorts I've placed.

Relative to Thursday's close or Thursday's low? The peak on Friday was up 4.3% from Thursday close. The close on Friday was 3.9% up from Thursday close. That bump near the end Friday set the stage for a decent short, but alas, I had already cashed out for the week. I'm shorting from close Monday.

Workers always had to live near resources enabling their trade. Fishermen by the shore. Miners in the mountains. Farmers on the plains. You developed a career in a location serviced by regular internet access and chose to move to a rural location expecting Starlink to enable that. 1st world problem.

Those people somehow survived up until now without starlink. I refuse to accept people have to patronize a company that empowers a fascist oligarch.

EXACTLY! I'm shorting Tesla stock every day. They've got nothing in reserve to boost the price- the risk of getting caught underwater is extremely slim right now. In late April when #TSLA reports quarterly earnings, it's going to be a bloodbath for the stock price.

The market lifted all boats Friday because govt shutdown was averted. This is a temporary effect for stocks with poor fundamentals and no discernible profit growth in the near term.
