Chembaron Caitlyn holds her pistol to Sheriff Marcus' head. A bruise is on his cheek from where she pistol whipped him in the face. She stands tall over him, her posture imposing, her eyepatch covering the eye his actions ruined. Pink shimmer smoke wafts through the air of the factory they are standing in. Sheriff Marcus is on his knees, pleading.

"Hello, Marcus," the once kind and noble Caitlyn said, stepping from the shadows of the factory, her prized pistol in her grip. She twirled it around her finger, one, two, three times, a confident movement in her step as she approached the corrupt sheriff. "I prefer rifles, usually, they're cold, precise, no need to get myself dirty in the trenches with the enemy. But pistols—" she switched the grip to hold the pistol by the barrel and slammed the pommel against his cheekbone, "pistols are personal." The sheriff was always a cowardly man, caring more for station than honor and the other things the position demanded, and he collapsed to his knees, an attempt to placate the One-Eyed Wolf. The girl who became the monster he made. She raised her pistol, leveling it between his eyes. "Please, I have a daughter," he pleaded, a tremble in his voice. He had no doubt she'd kill him without a second thought. "So did my parents." A shot rang out, followed by a heavy thud as his body fell lifeless before her. And then nothing. Caitlyn felt nothing, the shot didn't bring her parents back, it didn't undo the pain. She was just as empty as she was before.
