Through a USB cable because there’s no WiFi on it or anything. No idea they were positioning themselves as sort of the arbiter of oral history!

Yeah, I think I’ve never really looked at their greater positioning, just heard the Morning Edition clips and individual interviews I came across for some reason. Knowing what oral history actually is, it never struck me as oral history, just recorded conversations with (usually) family members.

I was not aware of this criticism! Always thought of them as more of a public radio feature rather than an oral history project.

I feel like I am missing something. This seems innocuous to me.

I think this name depends on which bakery is baking them. There are some other names that are different depending on the bakery. (My brother’s kids are still selling Tagalongs.)
