2 to 3% charges can hurt but there's always a lot of pushback from advocacy groups on behalf of lower income groups. Amazon cashless stores are blocked in a lot of areas for this reason. Philadelphia for ex: arstechnica.com/tech-policy/2019/03/sorr...

spaces will forever be twitter’s best executed product, no contest. most don’t realize we had been exploring audio-only live broadcasts long before spaces started as an idea by Raina. we were also exploring multi video live broadcasts (hydra). spaces were born out of combing these two features on a small team with @jakhorner Remy @mayagpatterson @akkhosh. when audio took off during covid, we pivoted quickly and executed company wide, with a fervor that was unprecedented. building that first version of spaces was a moment. @ededejr @jnctrng @fesumaya @carolynz @notbenyam (i shipped your spacebar today!) lylstarrgazzr (i shipped your reactions today!) @mymarvelouslife @kwokidile @tiniestsmalls @evanstnlyjones @Bsquared127 @gubbish @af_mada @Mr_DannySingh @callmeparri @niw
We don’t talk enough about how the “bloated” Twitter out-executed the one startup that really threatened it. In 2020, Clubhouse took off. Instead of buying the company for $4B (reportedly there were talks), Spaces simply out-executed Clubhouse, taking the wind out of their sail.
The US military has been using this with officers for years, informally "up or out". The idea is that it pushes people to continually improve, and if you can't crack it then you have to make room for someone else. It's rough if you're on the "out" part but good for the organization as a whole.
Since you're reading comments here, just want to give you a shout out and say I love your work. Really great, insightful stuff. Thank you!
I'm a big Bluey fan too - the ducky cake looks awesome. Well done!

One of my favorite presenters - and people - Phil Topness is kicking off DC Power Platform bootcamp. His YT videos are awesome, in person is even better.
Kicking off Power Platform Bootcamp in DC. This is one of my first local in person events and I'm so thrilled to see new and old friends again.
