When working with hides, every stitch counts, every cut matters. Honoring these animals is important. Don’t waste their life on unnecessary mistakes. I’m grateful for their offering to keep my head warm. The new Wardruna album is keeping me company and helping to ground me through the process.

Yes to all of this! I have been wondering the same thing. Lately SM has cause more stress and anxiety than it seems worth but I’m not willing to let that win and loose what I do love about it. The connections, creativity and knowledge I’ve gained while being on it. Something needs to change though.
