started working on a small game project, here's a tree & the 2 main characters🌳
How about some early WIP on the character.
Nope, just used preferences from older version as usual after update. Then I did have to update the addon as well. It's the Steam version of Blender too lol
Works alright, I'm on 5.1 for personal work here. 1.13.8 version of the addon.
I'd highly reccomend getting Machin3 Tools, which improves the shift+s pie menu for quick and easy cursor and origin manipulation.
A selection of levels from monument valley 3, showcasing colorful architecture and foliage amid many different tones.
Levels from the Monument Valley 2: Lost Forest DLC where architecture and foliage are intertwined throughout.
Assemble with Care DLC including an espresso machine to fix with many different parts and gadgets. The background is a bright outdoor patio with the trellis and leaves shadowing the scene.
A selection of NPCs and birds from Alba: A Wildlife Adventure including a glossy ibis, pigeons of various types and a flamingo!
I am still very much available for work!
Skills: Art direction, concepting, prototyping, workflows & documentation, art implementation, strong communication and collaboration with programmers & designers.

Time to finally get working on that character!
Pew Pew! Some older stuff done for practice.
General mess remaining, and also played around with darker lighting + flashlight, just for the fun of it.
The end is in sight.
Video games, amirite
Damn, no rounded edges?
But can you boost the big suck?
Changes are becoming smaller and harder to notice.

Currently it's all written scribbles. I'm working on more visual elements and then I'll be able to properly present it.
In short, it's a world where nations unleashed their secret weapons and experiments that let loose things no one could control. The world is full of horrific anomalies, all those failed weapons. Shown through the lens of a lone documenter, recording what survived in the world.
It's come a long way.

Thanks! I was only thinking about having the lil guy idling there. More animation is a lot more trouble, that I'm not sure I'm ready for.
Some leaks and edge damage really livens up the place.
The painting didn't quite work out, but I can use it as a concept piece for the 3D piece.
3D as a base is great. Still early WIP.
Does anyone have good examples of similar backgrounds, preferably from animated movies?
what else could be on the bag?
The proportions...oh, yes.
It's like you get better if you stick to it!
My worldbuilding project begins.
Starting the next illustration before finishing the first one, let's go!
It's been a year and I still haven't gone through my photos from Japan. Tells you what kind of year it's been.

May want to come back to it at some point, but need a break now.
Crop of a bigger piece I'm working on.
