Since it's been a week, I can talk about this episode a bit more. It's one I'm particularly proud of, and the first time I felt I was finally playing at the level of the rest of the group. It's a perfect example of what emotions this kind of long-term campaign can bring out.

Been really enjoying this AP of Public Access by @redmoonroleplaying.bsky.social While we did have a slow burn Kids on Bikes project in a similar vein, PA has certainly grabbed our attention & we just may have to take the time to get some hands-on experience with the PbtA system ourselves!
Childhood memories flicker like a half-tuned channel, hinting that something lost in the past never stopped watching back.”Public Access” continues with @jasoncordova.bsky.social, @aaroninwords.fpe.social and @symphonyhorror.bsky.social.

Full confession: I was a Brindlewood skeptic. Analog horror dragged me to Public Access anyway -- and thank god it did.
The figure-it-out mystery mechanics won me over completely, and the analog dread is exactly my vibe. If you share my creepy cravings, listen to this series and buy this game.
We play Public Access, a nostalgic analog-horror RPG, with its creator @jasoncordova.bsky.social stepping in as our GM.
Joining us is also the fantastic @symphonyhorror.bsky.social and equally amazing @aaroninwords.fpe.social.

I have to give a shout-out to @redmoonroleplaying.bsky.social
They are currently playing Call of Cthulhu's Masks of Nyarlathotep with new episodes coming on Fridays.
It's fun listening to another rendition of what I ran for my players.
And they are always spooky, expressive, and intriguing.
As the long voyage east draws to its quiet end, old obsessions deepen, new powers flicker to life, and somewhere beyond the horizon something waits, patient and unnamed. “Masks of Nyarlathotep” continues with Matthew Dawkins, @pugsteady.com and @symphonyhorror.bsky.social.
