Fair to say I'm looking forward to Project Hail Mary coming out next year.
Interesting to see something that looks like an Ariane in the trailer.

When I was a kid I loved building Lego. I was quite good at creating my own stuff too.
But I'm crap at it now. There are just so many different pieces that do the one job they need to do.
The creativity is all different.
I liked having to be imaginative with the few bits I had.

I wonder why teachers are so frightened to engage with Raspberry Pi.
I've just done an update and bricked my Pi5. πŸ€”

Whizzing through the countryside on a train, heading south from London on a sunny spring evening really is a super advert for Great Britain.

I seem to come up with my best ideas when I'm walking the dog.
The problem is that I need to finish the ideas I've already had before I start something new.

No, it's not the first spacecraft to go into polar orbit. (Just go out after dusk on a clear night and look up).
It's the first crewed spacecraft to go into polar orbit.
News outlets should do better.
I'm looking at you BBC.

Airbus wins contract for ExoMars lander platform Airbus Defence and Space will build the landing platform for ESA’s ExoMars rover, replacing a critical component originally to be provided by Russia.

This is great. Even more of the ExoMars mission architecture to be built in the UK. πŸ‘

Been experimenting with adding "emotions" to a robot.
It's amazing how few pixels you need before the anthropomorphism kicks in.

Cheap as chips. But it'll move and be a nice platform to experiment with.

10 years since we sent Astro Pi to the space station it's still going strong.
Today I completed another CPD session with primary teachers, who will be sending code to space with their classes in no time!

I always wondered how they kept on top of formal change control.
I guess they didn't?
And while we're here, I am interested to see how/if they are considering planetary protection for a mars mission.
They had better drop that dirty thing well away from Oxia Planum.

I'm being semi pedantic, because I understand the huge effort that was mobilised to get the VO launch to happen, and although it wasn't ultimately successful, history shouldn't be rewritten.
