The Country The World Says Doesn't Exist
The Country The World Says Doesn't Exist YouTube video by Rare Earth

I credit this video with a lot of my positions today. The loss of the Karabakh is a tragedy that gets lost in the weeds of today's political climate. A peace treaty was recently signed between Armenia and Azerbaijan, but it doesn't feel complete. Thank you @evanhadfield.bsky.social for this piece.

i get genuinely confused when i see those. like, it's one thing to want a car that you really like and has everything you need and want... but this feels like such a burden to use and have?

if anyone has this kind of truck, please let me know what you use it for?

has the relative instability of the last eight years been a brain drain for the sciences? i can't imagine academia and study has been very alluring for people to get into lately.

i did the math.

a king-sized waterbed is about $1,500 for a good one. it will hold about 250 freedom gallons, which is about 946 liters. a 1.5 liter bottle of popov vodka is $14.99. to fill a king-sized water bed with popov vodka, it would cost about $8,106.16.

in case anyone has forgotten about their #taxes or has been putting it off: directfile.irs.gov. hopefully you're eligible, but if not, freetaxusa.com is a very low cost alternative.

don't pay someone like me $100+ for something you can do for two hours of your time.

fill the water bed with vodka. it is infinitely more expensive and accomplishes nothing. it will not help you with your financial situation.

thank you for listening
