Folks reasonably assume footage from behind-the-scenes featurettes are "truth", but it is now standard practice for studios to alter footage from "making-of" videos.
(These gray screens are actually blue screens on the set of "Superman" (2025).)

My advice for anyone who wants to get into VFX is that you should prepare to fully understand that 99% of people who talk about VFX on the internet have zero clue what they're talking about and there's nothing you can do to educate them :)
