Funny story - I recently found an email for the company he is associated with and asked (in English and Google Translated Italian) if he would sign my SVX dashboard if he is ever in Canada but only later remembered the dashboard is alcantara / suede so is a signing even feasible?

Also designed by GG himself? 🤣
red 1997 Subaru SVX on a snowy driveway
it’s rust-proofed but I’m wary of exposing it to road salt so the SVX isn’t going beyond the driveway until spring 😔

There's enough inaccurate or concerning information in the way in which @en.ottawa.ca is communicating about the 2026 Budget that I felt it should be addressed. And it's the concept of $252M in "savings" that I want to talk about, because this information is being used falsely. 1/

This is Poloka. She doesn’t like riding in cars but loves to walk all over them.

If you’re in the Ottawa area, we could take it out for a spin!
1997 Subaru SVX
Screenshot of a Subaru SVX at Wikipedia with the rear wheel incorrectly setup
The SVX now has the winter tires + factory wheels!
The wheels are uni-directional and it’s easy to accidentally put them on the wrong side.
Case in point: the SVX at the top of the SVX Wikipedia page has the rear wheel on wrong.

No, it’s the original automatic transmission.
Thanks / Merci ! Ontario offers French licence plates - and they currently start with F - this is one of those !
Some people on the forums say the later model years don’t have the trans issues of the initial years. I want to believe this is true 🤞
update: I bought the SVX. 🫨
owner said what isn’t talked about enough about the SVX is how good the factory stereo is.
I drove this 1997 SVX last weekend.
It was amazing to be in the presence of this oddball heckblende-y Subaru.
Driving didn’t feel as amazing but I also stayed within posted speed limits so maybe the flat-6 engine is capable of more than I experienced.
I whole-heartedly disagree with the City of Ottawa administration's decision to mandate a full return to the office for City staff on Jan. 1. I wasn't supportive when federal public services were forced back into the office, and I certainly don't support it now.
je sais pas mais peut-être someone at the Nord des Lignes truck stop can help you?
Ah, so I wasn’t imagining that glitch!

Thanks for sharing - This is the first time I’m hearing him speak which is surprising since I have read so much about him over the years.
