Dear @nytimes.com, one of the largest peaceful protests in this country's history, and it winds up on page 22 in the Sunday paper? Gave you the benefit of the doubt yesterday, figured maybe you'd cover it today, but no. What's going on there? What kind of reporting is this?

Let’s get something clear. The GOP has the power to keep the government from shutting down in March. They control both chambers of Congress and the White House. If they can’t reach a budget deal within their own ranks, that completely on them.

Dems: Don’t lift a finger to help them. Not one.

Goodbye to Everything and Everybody, by Naomi Shihab Nye Naomi Shihab Nye recalls the “precious tender threadbare glory of each day” she experienced as a child who was not in a hurry to grow up.

"...how could childhood be the center? You had to be grown up longer than you got to be a child. This did not feel fair." Naomi Shihab Nye in #snapshotsthebook. @bloomsburybooksuk.bsky.social @bloomsburybooks.bsky.social
