Art by Mr Jalco Human made artwork and merchandise from Mr Jalco, an Artist based in Britain. Obsessed with sci-fi, cars, dogs and all things "geek". I never use AI, and all products are designed to be as sustainable...

Do you hate AI imagery? Yup me too. That’s why I refuse to use it in my artwork. Everything I design is 100% human made.

And if you buy something from my store before the end of April, I’ll enter you into a draw where you could win an original piece of hand-drawn artwork…

I did, and chose a vx220.

That’s Vance. Kegseth’s will smell of something else.

Far easier to do nice looking drawings in, in my opinion, but even less intuitive than AutoCAD I think.

ArchiCAD better for both, until you have to set a drawing sheet up.

The only solution with AutoCAD(as I learned on about day one of my year in industry) was to revise the PGP script to make the quick keys better. This was the flaw that my experience of Vectorworks had;want to draw a line you press “2”. Want to trim that line?Do shift and backspace (or something odd)

You lucky thing. Our uni insisted we all learn at undergrad on Macs, using ArchiCAD.

That noted, using Vectorworks on Macs was not fun… But then I moved somewhere that used Vectorworks on Windows

Counterpoint is that just as with how Jaecoo have sold* eleventy trillion cars in the UK in the last three weeks, some people just want "an thing" and don't want to have to delve too deeply into even having an opinion on it.

Had it forgotten to join a network? They've done that in recent years.

Still not Android- bad though.

Pleased to see that I'm not the single user of that selection method.

I've seen that Tim Cook is leaving Apple.

Serious question: Will anyone notice?

I've been running Macs since the 90s and honestly the only thing that's keeping me with them now is the dreadfulness of Windows and Android. That's not how to sell a business to someone.

My exact first thought. Sheesh. They need to get a grip.

@creatinglightly.art , please stop using such hurty words as “parking” 😉

Knocked sideways by this.
A better informed opinion and more beautiful photos were hard to become by on here, and this was such a small corner of his world.

What an appalling loss.

I miss him already.

Not just New Zealand’s air pollution. Assuming air pollution is localised is like saying you’re off for a swim in the piss-free section of the swimming pool 🤢

Saw some cars going home along the M27 as I returned from my Saturday with my undergrad uni mates. Bit gutted it fell all on the same weekend in the fomo style.

I deleted the previous version of this reply as somehow “lots” had become “lot’s”, which anyone who knows me will know I would never do.

Fuck you autocorrect.

Yeah, it did worry me how people instantly went for being transphobic. Lots of “I’m a liberal, but whoop, here’s my opportunity to punch down!” going on 👎

Is it bad that it’s getting to the point there are swathes of people I don’t give a shit about?

Surprise! We’re launching a new series of bookazines - like the regular mag, but bigger (180 pages) and focusing on a particular theme. The first one is Copacetic Presents: Modified Fords. It’ll be in TG Jones from May 1st, or you can pre-order right now: copaceticmagazine.co.uk/shop/bookazi...

Wow. Even I've been into a corner shop in New York.

This guy is so wrong.

I see this and the modular layout, coordination with services and also allowance for maintenance has me in awe.

In unrelated news, I have very few friends 😁

It is amazing that a manufacturer can be that big, but also not as good as Renault.

Yeah, when I saw the mention of “wood” (the term used to describe stuff that’s still growing) replacing bricks, I knew it’d be entering the realms of the fact-free.

My wife had this same thing. Fortunately, at least for now, our daughter's bright red to strawberry blonde hair only gets compliments.
[joke] I've got the .45 and a shovel solution for anyone who approaches the topic differently [/joke]

The other source I found which reported the Barratt proposal was that it was the inner skin (block) which would be replaced with timber framing, so it's completely non-news and actually misleading as described by that headline.

The alternative source also cited speed of procurement as the saving.
