Woke up earlier this morning to a nice surprise.
Amazon put the Tuesday, July 8th early #Superman tickets on sale much sooner than I expected. 🦸

📚 What I'll be reading in early May:
Big month for Morrison's Batman as I conclude the Reborn arc, including Scott Snyder's 'The Black Mirror' story in Detective Comics
Also re-reading the Bizarro's World arc in the Superman books, shortly after The Death & Return of Superman
That time when Batman was infected with mind control spores and Swamp Thing saved Batman's life by entering his body and making him epically vomit.
🌿 Swamp Thing Annual #4 'Threads' (1988) Bissette/Broderick
📚 What I'm Reading:
🦸 Superman: World Without A Superman (the post-Death, Funeral For A Friend storyline)
🦇 Batman: Life After Death (Tony S. Daniel's run post-Battle for the Cowl)
🪙Wonder Woman: Ares Rising (1993-94 issues)
😈 Daredevil: The Man Without Fear (Marvel sneak)
📚 What I'm Reading
My selected reading of DC Comics from 1993 will include:
🩸Bloodlines crossover event, bad reputation but I've never read it
🎭Two-Face Strikes Twice!
🦸 Superman: Speeding Bullets, an Elseworlds story where Clark grows up in Gotham
🦇 Showcase 93, the Catwoman & Robin issues
📚 What I'm Reading
I'm finishing out my selected reading of DC comics from 1992 with:
🦸 The Death of Superman
🦇 Batman: Night Cries
🐦 Robin III: Cry of the Huntress
🪲 Ambush Bug: Nothing Special
📚 What I'm reading:
About to start the big DC crossover of 1992...
Eclipso: The Darkness Within 🌘
Some of these covers go pretty hard and are very 90s!
I don't collect a lot of physical issues, but today I came across Justice League America annual #4 (1990) for only $1.95 and had to pick it up!
This is the extremely funny Justice League Antarctica story featuring the Injustice League and G'nort
Shoutout to Fire and Water Podcasts #jlipodcast
A great companion podcast is the perfect thing to have when reading a long run like JLI. Definitely give this a listen if you want to jump into JLI as well.

These are really humorous comics that put the Justice Leaguers in what can feel like a workplace comedy.
But the book has plenty of serious moments too, and features a team of great artists that convey a lot of emotion and plenty of action when called upon.
✅ I recently finished the entire Justice League International: Bwah-Ha-Ha era by J.M. DeMatteis and Keith Giffen:
⚖️ Justice League International/America #1-60
🇪🇺 Justice League Europe: #1-35
📚 Plus a total of seven annuals, two specials, and four large quarterly issues
Ooooooh captain my captain oooooooh
'Superman & Lois' using the final moments of its final episode to call back to its prior best moment was brilliant and a real tearjerker.
Despite detours into typical CW melodrama, 'Superman & Lois' knew how to deliver on the big emotional scenes between the titular characters.
🦇 I've listened to the entire second season of 'Batman: Unburied' over the last two days and enjoyed it much more than the sluggish first season.
Between 'Riddler: Secrets in the Dark' and now 'Fallen City', this scripted podcast series is now firmly on the right track. 🎧
Hell yeah.
You know what to do, James.
Make Ambush Bug the Deadpool of the DCU.
What’s your favorite 90’s comic character?
The comic books that I've been reading lately:
🦁Animal Man by Grant Morrison
🦸Superman: Krisis of the Krimson Kryptonite
🦇 Batman:War Games Book Two
🔋Green Lantern: Revenge of the Green Lantern
I can't believe prices already went down.
This looks pretty bland and ugly.
testosterone in the water > fluoride in the water
The working class voted to ruin their 401ks.
What is DOGE department doing about this?
Thursday Night Football is so back.
Done. That's sick!
