We get homemade salsa occasionally, too! The best.
Shout out to the office that sent me a goodie bag containing a shot of tequila
Spent some time this weekend studying photos of Koplik spots (an early intraoral sign of measles). I've never seen them in 32 years of dental practice, but it seems less likely that my streak will continue. Many unvaccinated kids in my practice and an exposure in the area.
Not so fun facts about measles

Just had an automated call offering to change my mammogram appointment to a virtual visit because of inclement weather. 🤔
Same here. My 4:30 am catalog of intrusive thoughts is quite extensive.
I feel like labeling light switches is an old person thing, but we’ve mixed these up for almost 27 years, so I’m just going to enjoy it.
I’ve started using the Finch app for self-care reminders and prompts to journal and look for the bright spots.
We bought this goofball a cozy wool pod to sleep in, but he prefers to smoosh it and sleep on top.
Amen. I bought some on sale, and I can’t bring myself to just pour it out, so I keep using it. It’s a sad way to start the day.
8-12” of snow predicted for DFW later this week, and people are already in panic mode. For reference, we average <2” of snow annually. Reed Timmer and Jim Cantore are on their way here! 😱
Who can relate?
Getting tiny glimpses of retirement life.
Excited to read this! I’m number 156 on the library waiting list, though 🫤
I’ll take Bill Nye! 🔬
Making perfect hard boiled(?) eggs in the air fryer amazes me every time. 🥚
