Not to mention all the other overworking can lead to I.e. health problems due to stress and not having time to exercise or see the doctor, marriages and relationships breaking down, parents not seeing their kids, depression...
I may be a QA heretic but when it comes to AI I think it is far less important that we testers learn to use some AI tool to write or automate test cases - & far more important (& interesting) the industry learns how to test and judge AI systems, agents, LLMs and integrations with our apps under test
I already use Playwright a bit at work, so this was an opportunity to do something with a different toolset. I tried Cypress but it struggled with seeing into our shadow doms so we stopped.
I can't comment on Selenium drag and drop unfortunately as it wasn't part of the project I did.
After writing an automation framework & tests in it recently, for the first time in 10 years (and in Python of all things) - I must say that Selenium Webdriver is still pretty damn good & easy to use.
Also some of the annoying things like managing drivers have been abstracted to be much easier.
