An orange cat, curled up in a cardboard bowl with his muzzle on his tail. He is looking up at the camera from somewhat narrowed eyes, looking extremely annoyed.
Happy #Caturday from Brian, who was unimpressed with being photographed.

Yes, obvious decision, because underage girls have, historically, been soooooo safe on private islands associated with this administration. 🙄😢
An old "Borders Book Shop" bookmark from sometime in the 1980s or 90s, sitting on a piece of lined paper.
Rediscovered this historical artifact today.

A chonky grey tabby cat curled up in a ball, sleeping on a colorful quilt.
Is there anything as sweet as a tiny creature who trusts you enough to take a nap by your side? #puckthecat

An orange tabby cat curled up in a cardboard bowl bed. You can see the bottom corner of a monitor at the left edge of the photo.
A grey tabby sits on a cat tree, yawning hugely. It looks like he's yelling.
The local timeshare #cat, Brian, has been hanging out chez moi to avoid the cold.
I'm happy about this, so is Brian. Puck is not.
A photo of a chaotic interior of a house. In the left third, a grey tabby is curled up in a cardboard cat bowl. At the bottom right, an orange tabby is snoozing on top of a box. In the background is a furnace closet, a shelf with various teas, mugs and wine on it, and a glimpse of a cabinet.
Happy #Caturday from my 1.5 cats.
(Brian the orange neighborcat has been coming in recently due to the cold)
Today's moment of beauty features images from 10 years ago–a snapshot of a time in my early 30s when life was full of exciting possibilities, and I was living in the beach town of El Segundo:

There's something delightful about realizing that if life were a sitcom, you'd be the weird neighbor.
A photograph of a street in Amersham, Buckinghamshire. A business named "INCELL" is in the foreground.
Erm, fellas, I think you might wanna rethink that name.
White words on a black background read: 50+ Immigration agents have the authority to detain whom they reasonably suspect are in the country illegally. We found more than 50 Americans who were held after agents questioned their citizenship. They were almost all Latino. ~130 Agents also can arrest citizens who allegedly interfered with or assaulted officers. We compiled cases of about 130 Americans, including a dozen elected officials, accused of assaulting or impeding officers. ~20 Among the citizens detained are nearly 20 children, including two with cancer.
Hi, I'm the ProPublica reporter who's been tracking an unusual stat: U.S. citizens grabbed by immigration agents.
I did it because the government isn’t.
This is what I found.
Happy Caturday!
A view of dappled shadows and partly turned maple leaves from a 9 pane window in a door.
I love the play of sunlight and shadow that the morning sun casts on my kitchen door at this time of year.
Running 10 miles isn't so bad when you're outside in the Pittsfield Preserve.
Not sure! The video is a bit hare-y.
In a similar vein, can someone help me identify this cat breed?
Happy #caturday from #puckthecat
A photo of Tybalt, a soft tuxedo cat, curled up in a chair that has a blue blanket on it.
Very sad to report that Tybalt passed away suddenly and without apparent explanation last Saturday.
I miss you, buddy.
Love it when my #cats gang up on me in the morning. It's like, "wakey wakey, ma'am, we are UNIONIZED and it is BREAKFAST TIME."
Cat tax:
Happy #caturday from Puck, Tybalt, and Brian the neighborcat.
here’s a curse word free version of “look it up” as requested by countless teachers and librarians 🥰😘
First time in a while I've posted several images at once. I'm proud of today's Moment of Beauty:

Too late for #caturday, but here's Puck regarding the world
Neither does Hank Rearden; arguably a better example because he was an industrialist. "Atlas Shrugged" specifically says that he didn't need unions in his plants, because he paid above market rate in order to attract the best talent. He treated his workers well and with respect. All fiction.
Thank you for your tremendous effort, Senator! Your speech was like a bonfire in the moonless night of last couple of months; calling people to come together, and warming our chilled hearts. I hope you are feeling well rested now!
