im thinking things like the vest, holster, etc here could be their own meshes
while her underclothes (gonna give her a bodysuit in this case) would just be a texture on her main body.

after trying to redo her uv maps and then just scrapping it and using what I already had, I've got some more progress in on her outfit ^_^

im facing a difficult decision now...
do i lean harder into the pixel art style like this face? or do i stick with the blurrier more explicitly just low-resolution style?
or do i do neither, and actually do high res textures, and let the compositor handle all the pixelation....
