The way I see it, if you treat it as a DLC Expansion of the first movie, there’s a lot of fun stuff and great concepts here. I did enjoy it on that level. But, as an actual film adaptation of the Mario Galaxy game, outside of the easter eggs, it leaves a lot to be desired.
As a FNAF fan and longtime viewer of yours I am beyond grateful for you being so supportive despite your inexperience with the series and not being a fan of this admittedly very clunky movie. I hope you know that many other true FNAF fans, no matter their thoughts on these films, feel the same.

Happy 6th anniversary to the first Sonic movie! Hard to believe this movie is now 6 years old. It’s amazing to see this movie had become an success which lead to us getting Sonic 2, Sonic 3, the Knuckles show, the upcoming #SonicMovie4 and the upcoming Sonic Event movie!

Me having completed the first and second quests of the the original Super Mario Bros for it’s 40th anniversary, being played on my dad’s original NES from when he was a kid.

I’d say if you’re curious you’ll get likable enough characters, great practical effects, a good music score, and a decent if a bit clunky story that gets the themes of the series down pretty well. It’s missing the claustrophobic atmosphere of the game, though, and as a result it’s not as scary.
I just saw the 1990 Ninja Turtles movie in the theater with my brother today! If your local cinema has the anniversary showings, don’t miss it! I made a Letterboxd review two years ago on why it’s great so feel free to look at that as well.

It’s okay and understandable to not want to celebrate our country in the state it is currently headed.
My advice? Think about the values you wish this country stood by a lot more (i.e. empathy, compassion, open-mindedness, acceptance) and spend this #4thOfJuly celebrating those that represent them.

They wanted to have Mark as the night guard that dies at the beginning, but he was working on his own movie Iron Lung at the time and wasn’t able to do the cameo. They have said that they still want to have him in a sequel if they get the chance.
