Today’s breed of the day is the pug! And I’m taking the time to honor my hardworking assistant.

Her job includes an array of responsibilities such as sleeping on a couch, sleeping on a chair, posing pretty for photos, and always being excited to meet new people!

Congratulations to the Chicago Bears for an amazing win yesterday over the Green Bay Packers! What a fantastic victory!

No matter how they felt, we listened and made sure this campaign represents all of Illinois. It will be my job as Comptroller to uplift our nonprofit communities, protect hard-working men and women, and lower property taxes by properly funding our schools and local governments.

This past year brought so many greetings, hugs, laughs, and important conversations. My team and I met people who were hopeful and excited for the next year and we met people that were scared and worried about what it may bring.
