Forgot about this app again, but here’s a lifelong dream: seeing/meeting the great Renée Fleming last night. No one is a better advocate for music and wellbeing.

Dr. Pam Parry (left) served as Journalism History editor when I submitted my very first article. She gave me my first acceptance and immediately became a huge advocate for my work. No one loved media history more. She was a joy to work with, a great collaborator and leader. What a loss to us all.

Someone in my building of mainly 20-somethings is singing along to Bond themes, and I am absolutely cracking up. I did not expect to be serenaded with “Nobody Does It Better” by Carly Simon through the bathroom wall at 10 p.m.
