That's someone else's screenshot in the middle. My main party currently is Lenneth Arngrim Lawfer Yumei.
I feel like aesthetically I should've been giving Kashell more of a try instead of Lawfer but I hear neither are all that good. I know there's a couple of heaters coming up though.
The full art render of Lezard Valeth. He looks and sounds like a dweeb chud and he's creepy as hell.
Yet in this shot of the boss fight against him you can see his normal in game sprite. Different hair, different kind of cape, different clothes, and it's all much much cooler. This is a different guy.

The difference between full render/close up and the normal in game sprites is frequently stark in this game, but so far this takes the cake. That is just a whole different, way cooler guy.

It mostly comes down to point blank forward advancing hitboxes swinging past each other lol. a lot of EA's will be subject to this against advancing buttons, and Naoto's seems especially subject to it.
I have a habit of 6b'ing quite a bit with hibiki and it's 6bb whiff cancel follow up gets me in a lot of goofy situations like this. I really thought it wouldn't follow me over to mu lol.
