Starting a mid-decade redistricting war only to end up with -1 seats is the same fine strategic genius and subtle grasp of game theory that brough us the Strait of Hormuz.

Indeed. Complaints about redistricting are invalid. Republicans did it everywhere and invalidated a Constitutional Amendment so they could do it on explicitly racial lines.
There are two choices: use the same levers of power as Republicans do, or let them win. There is no "principled" opposition.

It’s called an authoritarian oligarchy.
Uhhhhhhh cANADA?
Are you guys okay up on your high horses telling us AMERICANS how great your Country is while your FUCKING PM has ties to Palantir?

Q: What do Megyn Kelly, Tucker Carlson, Candace Owens, Alex Jones, and Marjorie Taylor Greene all have in common?
A: They have all turned against Donald Trump for reasons other than him raping children.
Newly released records on the police response to the assassination of Melissa Hortman show officers knew a woman was lying motionless on the top of the stairs inside the Hortman home but waited 30 minutes to physically check on her.

Fifteen minutes before the President announced he was pausing strikes on Iran, somebody moved $500 million in oil futures. Somebody knew. Somebody told them. Or somebody is them.

There's no meaningful distinction to be made between the Israeli settlers in the West Bank who burn, pillage, and murder at will—in fact, actively promoted, aided, and defended by Trump pal Benjamin Netanyahu—and ISIS.
Genocidal religious terrorists both.
I think it’s telling that Trump calls the process of selecting and vetting, for instance, a Federal Reserve Chair, as “CASTING.”
Who will join The Shitshow next?!?
Trump fought to keep the ballroom fundraising contract secret. Here’s what’s in it.

I’m glad that the Mad King isn’t going to commit war crimes right now, while once again it is obvious this bumbling fool has no idea what he’s doing.
Rick Wilson sits down with Andrew McCabe to unpack the stunning politicization of the FBI under Kash Patel and the staggering national security consequences of purging Iran specialists as conflict escalates.

Judge dismisses Trump defamation suit against the WSJ:
“Because President Trump has not plausibly alleged that Defendants published the Article with actual malice, both Counts must be dismissed.”

As Trump’s lies get more egregious (and repetitive) I have at least noticed fewer mouth-breathing bootlickers willing to defend him in my comments.
And the administration is leaking about how he’s hurting negotiations and how they’re keeping him on the sidelines.
I’ll call that progress.
He’s a complete moron.
He still hasn’t “won” Iran.
Someone give Pawpaw his meds and put him back to sleep.
The interesting thing about the current dynamic is that Trump said he would extend the ceasefire indefinitely, and Iran’s response was basically “fuck you, we’re winning”
They also threatened retaliation for any more vessels seized… which we just did.
Japan makes billions off the free natural gas we give them. And you wonder why Aussies are pissed off… #auspol

After France, Denmark is moving too: its Digitalisation Ministry plans to phase out Microsoft, switching to Linux and LibreOffice in the coming months. The goal is clear—reduce dependence on a handful of global tech giants and strengthen digital sovereignty.
