We never had either. They were both unfinished works in progress. Review FDR's economic bill of rights, he aspired for more. We were supposed to keep progressing and moving forward.

The Heritage dictatorship backed by the oligarchs and implementing Project 2025 is responsible for almost all the efforts to turn this country into a social darwinist, unregulated, environmentally damaged unlivable wasteland.

And Pete is a great guy but a damn centrist. To fix it right, we need a progressive takeover on steroids. We need a new New Deal and Great Society all in one. And we meet to take the wealth distribution chart since before 1980 and tip it sideways in one big progressive shift in the tax code.

There needs to be a public backlash. If enough of the public raises a stink, the donors can be outflanked! Don't let the issue be settled!

The Dems need to embrace the 1944 economic bill of rights of FDR as the basis of where they stand. It is the best of the Democratic Party. It is the unfinished New Deal legacy. Bernie and the heirs of his movement draw from FDR. As AOC says, "Economic rights are human rights!"
