As of noon Wednesday, there remains a modicum of optimism that Steve Kerr will re-sign as coach of the Golden State Warriors, according to four team/league sources.
All concede there are sizable hurdles to clear before Kerr considers returning, but he has not yet ruled it out.
Rod Martin was one of the least publicized great Oakland/LA Raiders. Made huge plays in 2 Super Bowls. Often met up with Rod at Seau's sports bar in San Diego when Raiders traveled there to play the Chargers (late '90s to around 2012). Wonderful company. Will be missed. Rest easy my guy.
Barring a renewed faith that would prompt a change of heart, the belief is that Steve Kerr won't return as Warriors coach, sources tell @montepoole.bsky.social.
The only thing that was clear today about Al Horford's NBA future is that it's anything but, @montepoole.bsky.social writes
After 19 seasons in the NBA, the last with the Golden State Warriors, Al Horford says he'll take some time with family before deciding his future. He has a player option with the Warriors, knows he still can play and did not rule out retirement.
He turns 40 in June.

Should Steph Curry have come back this season?

If the Warriors are to beat the Clippers tonight and extend their season, it will come down to these three non-Steph Curry keys, @daltonjohnson.bsky.social writes
The Warriors know this could be their last ride, but they won’t allow themselves to accept this as an epilogue.
They have their reasons, @montepoole.bsky.social writes
A worker died at an Amazon warehouse in Oregon last week.
For more than an hour, workers were instructed to continue working as the man lay dead.
One worker wanted to help, but a manager told them to “Just turn around and not look. Let’s get back to work," according to @thewesternedge.bsky.social.
