a few weeks ago, i took that mint DX with me to Japan and got it signed by Shigesato Itoi

Like so many other things that I *REALLY* want to do but struggle to find the time for (*cough*undertaleanddeltarune*cough*), to this day I STILL have not got around to playing the English fan-translation of Mother 3.
Hopefully one of these days.........
I'd eventually play Mother 3, in Japanese (I don't know any Japanese) on my DS, thanks to Evan (of jobjobllc.com , where you can buy some cool stuff), who was so kind as to (and yes, this is **BONKERS**) lend me his physical copy of the game, sent my MAIL!
I still cannot thank him enough for this.
Nintendo did take some sort of notice though -- the flood of mail (along with some of the founding pre-Fangamer crew) were featured in Nintendo Power (Oct. 2007 - Volume 220, on page 92).

This was made for the Envelope Art part of the 2007 "EB Siege" campaign -- an (unsuccessful) attempt to get an official Mother 3 localization for the west.

I'd not intended to put the title on there, but while adding the snow spatter, one accidental large blob ended up becoming the O.

Just in case anyone has like a spare million dollars kicking around.
NASA and Mamdani are proving that Americans are desperate to see their money spent in ways they feel good about.
This, however, is not the same thing as simply spending the money on things we would feel good about but never know happened. People need to be able to see it.
