13. Iron Man & Iron Man 2 (Rewatch)

The dentist told me to relax with a movie so I threw these on pretty much back to back

12. The Super Mario Galaxy Movie
#DuskyGlowMT2026
All those references and they excluded my Mario Kart main Dolphin? What's the point.
And now I have to hear a subset of Pokémon fans defend that wretched attention sucking model because Champions has it. Despite how absolutely atrocious the app as a whole is, people still want to defend that shit as not so bad... Ubelievable...
It's legitimately so depressing to run an investigation into aggressive monetization in gaming for college and read through tons of articles and posts fervently defending battle passes because "they're not predatory!!" and "they're so much better than loot boxes!!"
There's a female Gallade in Pokémon Champions, hope someone got fired for that blunder
Genuinely one of the worst shows I think I've ever watched, awful pacing, horrendous dialogue, deeply unlikable characters the show desperately wants you to like and I still can't believe it ends with "you're right, they sure are Beastars™️"
Absurdly, astoundingly rancid

The French don't mess around when it comes to animation
8. Resident Evil 5 Gold Edition

I’m not an RE expert, far from it, but this shit was peak. I understand why it gets hated on. I don’t care that it gets hated on. It’s hilarious and super fun to play co-op.
7. Beastars Final Season
#DuskyGlowMT2026
Since this show doesn't do a good job at building a compelling world or comment on socio-political issues beyond surface level I can only assume it was made as an experiment to make the worst love interest ever in all of anime and they succeeded!
My beloveds...
Awesome stamp redeem
I'm all for criticizing Nintendo but saying Sonic Movie 3 is "faithful" as a way to criticize the Mario Galaxy Movie is wild.
Even removing my bias against the movie, I just don't get why you can't enjoy Sonic 3 without claiming it's "faithful" when it's so clearly not.
It's like a very "middle of the road" thing for me, as many things are with Sonic... Lots of concepts I enjoy and neat little references here and there that are kind of exciting, but falling a bit too short on the final stretch to execute it well.
As for Infinite, I'm honestly a bit disappointed? I'm glad he's back, but his motivations and actions felt soooo generic, and worse yet I find the concept of him just hunting down an item that does the exact same thing as the Phantom Ruby deeply uninspired and lame...
If it had focused more on the mystery and significantly less on the boring audio-only action I think it would have been way better, but the longer it went on for and the more characters showed up the more it felt like it dragged on and on for much longer than it needed...
Conceptually I really like the idea of a Chaotix based audio series focused on a mystery and bringing back a character that had been presumed dead for almost a decade, but in execution it felt really bland and often pretty uncomfortable (Vector's "suave" voice, the Vanilla thing)
Chaotix Detective Files was like... Fineee? Honestly it's just becoming more and more apparent that Sonic side content is not for me and I just don't care for the current voice direction and cast at all even 16 years in...
Pokopia is the best Pokémon spin-off ever, I legitimately can't put it down... I'm not even "good" at it, all my builds look like ass, but I still go to bed thinking about what I want to make next and stuff like that every night...
Peakopia
4. How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World
#DuskyGlowMT2026
I think Toothless is cute and I bought a fluffy blanket themed after him (unrelated)
I can see why it’s controversial, but I enjoyed it. Not enough of a HTTYD fan to go super in depth, but I enjoy the movies and I like the funny dragons.
3. Zootopia 2
#DuskyGlowMT2026
It was good but it felt really overhyped tbh. Bold of them to introduce Tow Mater from Cars into the franchise though.
2. Tomb Raider: The Legends of Lara Croft (S1 rewatch, S2 first watch)
#DuskyGlowMT2026
Yeah I played the games so I had to watch the Netflix show, duh
1. Shadow of the Tomb Raider
#DuskyGlowMT2026
I had higher hopes for this one, ended up being a rather boring and repetitive slog rather than the last hurrah I had hoped for in the trilogy.
I liked doing a media thread last year so I'll do it again, sorry for the spam :)

WAIT HOLD ON...
I was worried Pokémon coming out this year would coincide with my big final assignments in college but now that it's not coming out until I'm already graduated it means I won't be spoiled!!!
2027!?!? NUTS, THEY'RE ACTUALLY TAKING THE TIME TO POLISH THIS GAME OMG
