Re-regulate and re-nationalize the airlines.

TIL Canada is killing poor and disabled people to keep healthcare costs down. Sure, this is the first I've heard about this living in Canada, but it was in a YouTube comment and the person saying has over 1400 subs so it has to be true.
I'd still like to live north of Montaning, please.
And merge Montana and Wyoming? There's no way either of them alone should have the same senate representation as New York or Texas.
Robert Wagner killed Natalie Wood.
"I'm winning a War" is so eye catching that "Just like these unpatriotic people used every ounce of their limited strength to fight me in the Election..." is easy to miss. It could mean that unpatriotic people oppose him, but come on, he surely believes it's unpatriotic to run against him.
I do need to be fair that it's just as ironic flying on the same pole as the American flag, lest we forget what "freedom and liberty" were built on.
It was definitely for permanent DST. I would have voted yes if it was permanent MST.
As Premier Danielle Smith appears poised to bring permantn DST to Alberta, a reminder that Albertans voted against adopting Daylight Saving Time in a referendum in 2021.
Yup. I would have voted yes if it was permanent MST. I don't know why these governments are so insistent on making it permanent DST.
What gets me is that for years the cry was "Learn to code!" but one of the jobs they're trying to replace with LLMs is coders. If this doorknob is correct about 20-30% unemployment, even with more education what are those careers that could absorb that many people?
Workshopping ways to rebuke Hassan Piker without coming across as hypocrites.
That's not even "protecting the children," it's depriving adults of a full education.
It will actually do what they claim DEI did, get less qualified people into positions they didn't earn.
Oh, and I finally did my taxes today* to one of my other pick-ups. Not getting a lot back, but it's more than I spent on the records so that's nice.
*We get until the end of April.
It was 1949. Kids didn't start smoking then until they turned 10.
Party hats used to be a lot more fancy. We should bring those back.
I'm not going to deny it. One of my pick-ups at #RecordStoreDay yesterday was the KPop Demon Hunters soundtrack because it's a banger.
The biggest shock to me has been how many Democratic voters have been spitting on the idea that a nominee has to earn people's votes. I've even seen the concept called "childish". It's possible there is some bad actor influence going on, but there was a lot of genuine anger too.
So? Impress me with machines that can dig holes faster than a human or lift heavier loads.
Betty and Veronica from Archie Comics are discussing a rock concert by a band called Lee Lee and the All Night Dogs while Veronica is swooning over the picture of the lead singer, Lee Lee. Behind Betty is a shorter girl with a green bob and a lot of little hearts rising from her. One could pretend she's looking at Lee Lee, but come on, she's looking at the back of Betty's head.
Looking at the styles, this comic appears to be from the 1970s and there seems to be an attempt at plausible deniability, but look at the placement and the sight lines and tell me this isn't a green-haired lesbian at #Riverdale High with a crush on Betty. #ArchieComics
Harry Lucey's artwork in old #Archie comics doesn't get nearly enough appreciation.
It would still be "Piano Man" because his mutant power would be that he's a human piano.
But my understanding is that if you hold Democrats to account and don't give them your vote regardless of their BS then you're just MAGA. Demanding that they earn your vote is just childishness and fascist. At least that's what I've heard from too many accounts on Bluesky.
Like, most of the line when I got there, and at least half the line or more when I left. Love to see it!
This was the earliest I've ever been in line for #RecordStoreDay but the farthest back I've been in line. Luckily I was still able to get what was on my list. The biggest surprise though was how many other women were there this year. Usually it's just a handful of us, but solid numbers today.
"passport bros" are not at all new and they are not "frustrated with modern dating" they just want women who are completely subservient to them and have zero power in their own lives
What number is Stephen Colbert thinking of?
