What’s everyone’s favorite Pokémon from gens 1-4 respectively?

I've got a lot of stuff in my backlog, but I'm hoping it doesn't take another 2 years to get the the sequel
I played some Halo 3 custom games today with friends for the first time in probably 10 years. It brought me right back to late night gaming with, some of the same, friends. I'm not a big FPS player in general, but Halo will always be a winner for me
I've had Citizen Sleeper for around 2 years and finally got around to playing it. Finished it earlier today and it was a great time. The decisions were interesting, the dice mechanic was a fun way to resolve choices, and the characters were really well designed. Definitely excited to play the sequel
Book 14/40
Enjoyed the continuation of the Broken Earth trilogy. I probably liked Fifth Season more, but this was a nice continuation of the story.
I really liked the progression of the power system as well as a deeper looking into a lot of the characters introduced in the first book.
Just finished FFX after deciding to replay for the first time in about 15 years. What a great game!
I never would have guessed based on your name haha.
I didn't buy the 2nd until I finished the 1st and I haven't gotten the 3rd yet. I'm probably going to get the rest of the series next time I go to the bookstore.
Book 13/40
This series is great. I'm squarely in the demographic of gamer that this series if written for. All of the references are hitting for me and it plays to my exact sense of humor. I definitely need to go out and get the rest of the series so I can continue reading.
Five books to get to know me:
📖 Mistborn by Brandon Sanderson
📖 Eragon by Christopher Paolini
📖 The Two Towers by J.R.R. Tolkien
📖 Dungeon Crawler Carl by Matt Dinniman
📖 Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo
Usually evolve ASAP. I feel like the stat boosts they get from evolving make up for having to use some weaker moves
I really don't like when authors include songs in their books. There's no reference for what it should sound like an I can never work out the cadence
Book 12/40
Slowly making my way through this series and definitely enjoying it so far. The pace of events in this one seemed to pick up compared to the others. Not sure if that pace continues or not, but I'm invested and will absolutely be continuing the series.
Always love a good board game night! Played an old favorite in Munchkin (Cthulhu) as well as a couple of games that are newer to my collection with Thief's Market and ArchRavels.
All three were a great time and I definitely wanna get some more plays in for all of them!
Four video game characters that are extremely important to me 🎮:
I just recently beat the first Keep on Mining and had no idea there was a second one. Thanks for the heads up!
I didn't cosplay anything at PAX myself, but I always love seeing other peoples costumes. So many awesome people dressed as awesome characters!
Had a really great weekend at PAX East. I've wanted to go for years and finally got to make it happen. Met some cool people, saw some fun panels, and ate lots of great food!
Just back from PAX and opening some Pokemon card packs! twitch.tv/billxgames
It was so good! Just got out of my showing.
Just got back from Project Hail Mary and it was great! Read the book last year in anticipation and it felt really true to the source material with only minor changes for pacing and to help transition it to the big screen.
Definitely recommend it for any sci-fi fans!
So much of my middle school humor was me and my friends telling Chuck Norris jokes. Definitely shocked hearing the news of his passing this morning.
Multiple times today in Pokopia when I tried to use a lift to travel, I couldn't use it because Haunter was on his way across. I think he had ulterior motives for moving in to his home.
Book 11/40
Another book where I knew very little going in aside from it being post-apocalyptic.
It was an interesting story with weird science and some very strange creatures.
Friday and Saturday entry badges for PAX East 2026 on a pink lanyard with characters from various Studio Ghibli movies
Got my badges and I'm all ready for PAX East next weekend!
My work had a required training today warning of the potential dangers and vulnerabilities of AI. Great, except that the entire training was delivered by AI avatars
Rolled credits on Pokopia this weekend! There are still so many more habitats to build and so many more Pokemon to befriend. The game has been so fun, and I'm glad that I still want to play even after the "story" is done.
I'm glad I beat Resident Evil before starting Pokopia. If I hadn't, I probably would be busy building up my world while Grace and Leon were in perpetual trouble.
Happy Birthday man! Would love to play some Super Battle Golf with you sometime if you're interested!
