Usagi from Sailormoon, winking and holding a peace sign. She is saying love and peace.
It's best.
I'm reading Shouha Shouten, a manga about two guys who form a manzai comedy duo.
It's a very Japanese form of comedy, but I think the translation does a good job of getting it across in English. It's really unique and I'm enjoying it so far.
I like good fight scenes, but I do kinda feel like sometimes less is more.
A single fight that goes on for multiple episodes is usually too much, man. That's like an entire movie's worth of time dedicated to one fight. It rarely holds my interest for that long.

I love seeing Youtube thumbnails that are like "The Mario game you've NEVER played!!" and it's a Mario game I have, in fact, played.
I know Oscar from that crossover episode in Lupin the Third Part 2. I ought to check out her original series.
This is the original, since this post cropped out the signature.

I reposted this earlier but it was a repost that cropped out the signature. I undid that repost and am now sharing this instead since it links to the original artist, pcholkachai.
Yeah, I like that Inuyasha isn't even a "temporarily stuck here" story for the most part. Kagome can usually come and go as she pleases, which is a fun setup.
In the Super Show, Luigi was played by the late Danny Wells, so this guy's name being Dan is a fun coincidence.
Yeah, I tend to agree.
I think the hero having some grounding in their original world does a lot to humanize them.
Plus there's the interesting world-crossover potential of the supernatural world's characters also going to Earth and causing a ruckus, which you can't really do with the other style.
I like playing with friends sometimes, but I have no interest in games that utterly rely on multi-player.
If there's no strong single-player mode, I'm not interested.

I feel like most western isekai are "found a secret warp zone" stories and most Japanese isekai are reincarnation stories.
There's exceptions of course, but generally western isekai are largely about finding a way back home, while Japanese isekai is often just "This is your life now, deal with it."
Though I do feel this is all the more reason Bananza Pauline has to be someone else.
Cranky is already an old man in Bananza, and Diddy and Dixie mention the events of DKC2 specifically, a game where Mario appears as a grown man.
Short of time travel, Pauline being the same person makes no sense.
I typed "retcon" but my phone autocorrected.
I guess "reconcile" still sort of works though.
It's true, though his design is 1-for-1 Rare's DK, while classic DK (even with the tie in DK '94) has a different design.
It's certainly not impossible that they'd reconcile their designs to be the same (like, Baby Bowser used to look different from Bowser Jr., but now they're virtually identical)
WARIO & THE TOWER OF GARLIC IS OUT!!!
This was a very fun project to work on and we hope you like it as much as we did making it!
Can you conquer the tower and come out a rich... garlic... man?

That may be, but modern DK does still kidnap Pauline in the Mario vs. Donkey Kong series.
I'm still kinda holding out for the "Bananza Pauline is a relative of the other Pauline" theory, but we'll probably never get a definitive answer.
Jack's obviously a fan of the G&WG version of Donkey Kong.
(I kid, I know he made a mistake, but it's kinda funny that he's *technically* not wrong!)
Backrooms discovered in Gravity Falls
You don't need to feel shame, but like... Ehhh, y'know, choose your battles?
Getting into arguments with strangers over their Mario opinions seems to stress you out more than anything in the long run.
Answering honestly, are those exchanges usually fun for you?
It's heavily disconnected from the other Mario & Luigi games too, which were full of unique and memorable characters that just were almost completely absent from Paper Jam.
While I do agree with you, even before Rowling, people did this. The show Bewitched from the 60s also used "warlocks" to refer to male witches, for example.
I'm not saying that to advocate doing it, I'm just saying that JKR didn't invent using different words for male and female magic users.

a bear vacuuming a floor as a japanese salaryman looks on in terror
found out about the manga kuma gurashi which is like those ones where a manic pixie dream girl comes into a salaryman's life and starts doing all his domestic chores for him to heal his heart except in this one it's a realistically drawn bear and the salaryman is terrified on every single page
(By this I mean using AI and passing it off as entirely human-made. If you use AI and are at least upfront about it, I really don't care.)
