If we made the green energy transition this war would be unthinkable and these authoritarians wouldn’t be in power — not in the US, not in Iran, not in Saudi Arabia, not in Russia. Hydrocarbons are killing our freedom and just plain killing us.
I guess Reform voters (and a lot of Tories) just do not know or do not listen to any women?

Nope. Just corporate greed over animal welfare and the environment.
Latest from our Labs - we look at how NAS vendors get TLS wrong, and why this matters.

🧵 @jburnmurdoch.ft.com is spot on about the conditions in his FT piece. Liberal democracy held it together thanks to growth, good demographics, and the promise of a better future. Those days are gone, and that’s the "why" behind the erosion. However...
Watching the total donations shooting up after the Xmas Day Message is so beautiful.

"Nathan Gill is one of the most honest and decent people that Ukip have ever had. The way he is being treated is a disgrace.” - Nigel Farage
Governments and voters are both reacting to algorithm-shaped “public opinion,” not grounded priorities. Immigration feels urgent because platforms amplify fear, pulling parties into hollow performances of toughness. The far right reads that drift as confirmation it’s winning.
This question was poorly written.
"Introducing new taxes on gas bills to encourage people to switch to electricity"
In general it is surprising how even people that support net zero don't necessarily support things that are needed to get there. Feels like there is a comms issue.
Anyone going to tell them climate change is real and the North Sea is a declining basin?
And most of the increase was Europeans
Immigration has not changed Bournemouth
Yes there was a 47% increase of non-uk born residents. But that only changed their percentage of the population from 11% to 15%.
Raised even.
Dishonest reporting. Australia raided the level back in 2021 due to terrorism threat not crime.
"On 15 November (2021) the UK raised its terrorism threat level to severe (second-highest level)"

And the answer is no, it is mostly the price of gas and our dependency on it. But like all things it is more complex than just that.
A great example here of that neat trick where you highlight the rise in the cost of offshore wind…
(absolutely true, and largely linked to higher interest rates and inflation)
I am not sure you picked the best example to illustrate your points which also come over as very one sided.
Yep. Loved both the book and film. Although they were different from each other.
The Guardian will publish scary headlines about ice sheet and AMOC collapse on a Friday, then stuff like this on a Monday: www.theguardian.com/commentisfre...
How are people supposed to navigate this? Is climate change an urgent problem, or not?

Gotcha. So some specific cases where only high temperature ASHP would really do.
SCOP of 2? how on earth do you manage to get it so low? Looking at my data (I have a Daikin Altherma 3) i only get that low when doing domestic hot water and it -3 outside.
Just to nit pick. You mentioned a 3 meter rule. I assumed you were in Wales as that is where that rule applies. In England it was 1 meter until they removed it last year.
