Yeah the Norwegian side of the family made it every Christmas but there was always chili as an alternative. I always ate the chili
This has to be our worst food crime.
Oh my god, are we related???
It's truly the ultimate vibe cooking but its an excellent skill to have as you keep ingredients from going to waste.
You can also do this with a can of diced tomatoes and still get the effect. Just drain the tomatoes prior to adding them to the cream.
Pasta in a creamy tomato and pesto sauce
Not bad for winging it with leftover ingredients
Toss those in. Stir, and let simmer until pasta is done. Bon apetit
I have about 2 tablespoons of leftover fresh pesto so we're tossing that in as well. And then a mix of pecorino and parmesan as I'm down to my last bits of those
We add our roasted tomatoes to a cup of cream and blend with the hand blender. Set aside and monitor the garlic. When the garlic is ready we add our creamy tomato mixture and stir.
Once they are out of the oven we let them cool a bit in the pan and then lift them out with a slotted spoon so I can reuse the oil in the pan to sautéed some garlic. 2 cloves will do in this instance as there will be more to come later.
We are flash roasting some leftover grape tomatoes from another meal at 400 degrees for 20 minutes. It's not quite enough to make a sauce but enough to build a sauce with.
Tonights dinner, a combo of a hodgepodge of leftover ingredients and a variation of an old recipe I found in my Silver Spoon cookbook.

I have to go to work and this is not my cat.
Sees neighbor walking her 2 super fluffy dogs and further up the street I hear one of the neighborhood kids yell "THE DOGS ARE HERE!!! HI DOGS!!! HI!"
I keep a notebook of character notes where I scribble things into as they come up and then after a certain point I can start fleshing out a chapter about that character.

Riding the NYC subway with my extremely smiley firstborn was a great way to witness the inherent goodness of humanity. I remember a very tough looking gentleman shaking his head and muttering “I guess I’m having a good day today“ after my infant son beamed at him

I'd love to read something in a format other than Twitter posts from him on this; "the otherness of persons in the flesh is neutralized" is a banger.
I have done a thousand dreadful things willingly as one would kill a fly, And nothing grieves me heartily indeed But that I cannot do ten thousand more. (Aaron, Act 5 Scene 1)
He has some of the best lines.
As for the "content" the woman posted about the importance of watching your kid around moving vehicles and making sure you hold their hands. Accidents happen, not everything is for clicks but this headline is definitely based in a way that its all her fault and not the dad.
Gonna reiterate this part which is not in the headline
The headline focuses on her but uh... DAD WAS LITERALLY SUPPOSED TO BE WATCHING THE KID!!!
