That sounds like science fiction!
3/ best quote: "Sometimes when I talk to an agent I wish it was multi modal so it could get my emotions"
I've got another Earth shatterer: a device where you could listen to a curated list of podcasts, delivered over electromagnetic waves, possibly FM!
2/ programming - am seeing lots of non programmers accessing the joy of building but agentic programming is so much fun for seasoned builders too! What a ride! Also loved the assessment of @moltbook.bsky.social (MoltBook) as art...
Excellent @lexfridman.bsky.social podcast with @steipete.me on @openclaw-x.bsky.social (OpenClaw) the general purpose AI agent and about agentic programming. My first programs were in Fortran77 and now I am adding features to web apps with plain English... I love Peter's joy at this new mode of

I can finally share the happy news ๐ liiive.now โ my tool for real-time collaborative annotation of #IIIF images โ is going open source!

Image shows a wooden frame in a wall with 10 spray cans in it. It was originally a photo taken by Lars Windauer and optimized by Gemini to add the TEI Publisher and e-editiones logo and name.
๐ TEI Publisher 10 is here! The release introduces Jinks, a new app manager.
โจ Faster setup
โจ Easier upgrades
โจ More flexible publishing workflows
Huge thanks to the community and partners who helped to make this release possible!

Oh Twitter, the wedge we use to widen those small gaps into multi hour productivity sinks... And we're not kidding anyone, bsky is no different.
For a while there we were alone, with GPT, Claude and Perplexity not available. Even though Gemini was chugging along, it felt a little like being home alone with the grownups out of town, no?

This is how humans are identified in the registration form for TCC 2025, the Theory of Cryptography conference...
It is definitely happening this time!
Join us why don't you :-)
How have I only now found out that @iandunt.bsky.social's striking 13 has a podcust, and why is it read like the shipping news?
It's not the Artificial Intelligence that is to blame, it is (human) natural idiocy.
Well he (Nigel) IS rather unpleasant.
@dorianlynskey.bsky.social just heard you ask on OGWEN how is Reform ahead if Farage is less popular than both legacy party leaders. Well they might lead in the voting intention surveys but are far from having a majority. The difference between Nigel's popularity and Reform's isn't huge.

I was just listening to the @theresthistory.bsky.social series on Hitler's path to power and this is no spoiler or anything new - the parralels are chilling. And what made it even worse is that a versy similar thing is happening in Israel as we speak.
This looks interesting
Not all bleak, but most...

Now that I have mastered the details and structures for this, Iโll be glad to build and possibly host similar services for on-line repositories. [#DigitalHumanities] (3/3)
data.geo-kima.org, started by @sinai-rusinek.bsky.social and curated and maintained by the both of us. The service has been tested for reconciliation in OpenRefine and is based on the W3 specification. Free to use. [#DigitalHumanities] (2/3)
In infrastructure news: Just deployed a matching service for 48,124 Hebrew place names and their Latin and Arabic equivalents, as well as the 150,018 variants of these names. The service is at match.dh-dev.com/kima and is based on Kima, the Hebrew names gazetteer at [#DigitalHumanities] (1/3)
i now pop between bluesky and twitter like someone in a love triangle with the toxic bad boy and the boring but safe love interest in a YA romance
Truly revolutionary! What next, string some podcasts together and call it radio?
3/2 Now that I have the c# template and Azure serverless cost-free service, I'll be glad to work with anyone interested in adding a reconciliation service for their data. You can contact me at gil.shalit@gmail.com.
2/2 The service is obviously based on Kima, the Hebrew place name gazetteer @sinai-rusinek.bsky.social and I maintain at data.geo-kima.org, which just recieved a 50% increase in the amount of name variants. Enjoy and please let us know what you will be using the service for.
