INDOPACOM on suicide watch

Conspiracy thinking grows in wake of massively disruptive, technology-driven, social change. Jewish people/communities catch strays. A new cycle breathes life into antisemitism from previous cycles. This feels like forbidden knowledge to contemporaries hearing it fresh. Rinse/repeat for millennia.
It's not very good. The dialogue trees and character expression are awful. Night/day difference from 1, 2 & New Vegas.
Many of the problems of associated with tenement housing expansion at the turn of the last century are functionally solved or not relevant. People will either buy the housing or not, the attendant issues are mitigated. Why is it tone deaf? I want people to live where they want.
But everyone loves a quality, tightly paced 1-3 seasons of TV. You simultaneously get more out of it while also making smaller incremental commitments.
So many of the most influential film phenomena in the last 20 years got big funding/attention while straining against the confines of theaters, run-time, set-piece budgets... It was exhausting. It drained the love of going to the movies out of a lot of people.
While it is very sad that institutional Hollywood cinema is dying out, I take a lot of comfort in the fact that TV still has a lot of purchase in the streaming world and is, in some ways, a more complex storytelling medium than movies.
No it hasn't? Almost everyone who isn't a hardened LARPer knows this kind of shit is bad and counter productive. It's just the hard-core dipshits who think uttering "diversity of tactics" is some magic spell that makes giving into their worst impulses an acceptable idea.
He's just sharing his experience. Which was negative and embarrassing for others.
That doesn't mean it's a good idea, let alone an idea that must necessarily be elevated above criticism.
"diversity of tactics" is a thought-terminating cliche that gets trotted out to arrest any left-punching no matter how pointless or self-harming the act under critique was.
Ice is dabbling in similar things. It's not 1:1 and it is hyperbole to call the the Gestapo... but idk. Dont really care.
what about the baltics?
No rice? ๐
The relevant quote. Makes it pretty clear, tbh.
Which is directly referenced in the majority opinion in Ark.

The difference is that back then people paid attention when Democrat leadership said something
Surely he says this about white people. I feel like he says this all the time?
You can bullshit media in the meanwhile if the president/party leaders are good communicators/adept debaters. The Dems haven't had this in leadership for ~10 years though.
They did a bunch of basic funding for middle class priorities like inter-urban transit, energy production and Internet fiber, etc.
*None* of that puts political points on the board if the number of people who reap the benefits while you're in office stays at near-zero.
Rhetorically - yes.
But Biden was incapable of personally articulating that from the podium. And I am still fully convinced his platform would be way more popular if the infrastructure programs hadn't been ensnared by the same web of bullshit the Abundance people are constantly yelling about.
I somehow doubt there will ever be an electoral majority of people who don't support some kind of immigration enforcement. Presumably this is downstream of the notion that not everyone on earth is a member of the democratic polity called the USA.
They worked they just have major wear & tear problems
