I really can't wait to be finally done with this story 😂

Four workdays left, until I can expect the client feedback on my sketches. That means I have only four more days to finally draw the last scene of my own graphic novel if I want to be able to send it to the printer in time 🫠 I can do this!!!

The week in Bologna at the Children's Book Fair and the few days in Florence were a blast 🌞 I'm so fulfilled with new ideas, impressions and beautiful memorys 🤩 It was also wonderful to come home to my boyfriend and our cats yesterday. But it will take me a while to get back to normal again 😌

I did it! 114 sketches are done 😍

By the way I'm going to Bologna Children's Book Fair next week 🤩 I'm so excited!
The downside is, that I need to finish preparing my website, portfolio and a flyer in the next couple of days beside drawing the last sketches for my deadline 😅
But I'm well in time with everything so far 💦

Oh wow! This also happend last week 🥳
I'm really proud of being part of something this big and amazing (although this project is also taking a toll on me sometimes 🫢)!

I ignored, that today is a holiday and now 107 of 114 sketches are done 😌 That means I have a bit moren then 3 workdays for the remaining 7. That's doable although they are all complex scenes and I have a ton of other things to do as well 👀
So it's still a bit too early to celebrate 😬

I spent a lot of time with family and am really thankful and glad that I was able to do that, because all the horrendous news from across the globe make me appreciate what I have much more 😭

This project is such a wild ride!

I just surpassed the 100 sketches 😭
Not super happy with some of the motivs so far because I always had to go with the first idea that came to my mind.
But I'm so glad because that means I can spend the easter holidays with my family without worrying too much about my deadline next week 🫠

Yay! I'm at 94 of 114 sketches. But I feel so exhausted. It's this part of long term projects with tight deadlines I struggle most with. It doesn't matter how good I keep up with my schedule, although I know I'm in desperate need of a break I have to keep on working until the very last day 🫠

I finally got the contract for my next big project 🫣 On one hand I'm so glad because that means I will have work until the end of the year. On the other hand I'm already panicking because the deadlines are so tight again, that one unexpected happening will turn it into chaos 😬

I like working out and enjoy being active. But I genuinely have no idea how I should balance it with my busy work schedule and all the other stuff I should take care of on a day to day basis 😥
I had a wonderful time this morning at physio therapy. But now I'm so exhausted and just want to nap 😴

"Project Hail Mary" was very very good ❣️ Wonderful production and such a great story! I already loved the book and being able to see everything come to life felt very special 🥹

Fun fact: I was by far the youngest patient at physio therapy today (only the trainer seemed to be my age and younger) and I'm not sure if that's good or bad 😂
Nevertheless I'm currently doing my best to get my back better again 👍

I'm already at 65/126 sketches. Yay!
But I'm still waiting for the authors to figure out what to do about the 16 extra briefings they sneaked in 😬 So there's a whole section of complex motivs I can't start yet.
Plus I made it a little bit too easy for myself by starting with only the easy stuff 😭

Filing taxes in one country is already so much annoying paperwork!!! 💦 I can't imagine how it is having to do it in two 🫢

I just learned, that March 31 is world backp day and I decided, that I will not wait until then and make my long overdue data back now 😅 I really should do that more often and more frequently 🫢

I really love procreate because it is quite mighty for it's price and simplicity ❣️ I drew hundres of comic pages in it.
But yeah! There's so much it can't do that I constantly need so time to say goodbye 🥲

38/126 sketches are done 💪 Although I should add, that 34.5 of those have already been there when I got the briefing because I either already did them for the cover illustration or recycled from other books 😜 The remaining 88 are going to much more work though 🙄
