Today, Israel is collapsing apartment buildings all over Lebanon, including central Beirut, leaving an untold death toll.
This mass terrorism is either an attempt to sabotaging Trump's ceasefire, or a final tantrum of a strategically defeated Israel eager to manufacture a mere image of victory.
Trump just announced a 2-week ceasefire, but “subject to the Islamic Republic of Iran agreeing to the COMPLETE, IMMEDIATE, and SAFE OPENING of the Strait of Hormuz.”
This condition is extremely unlikely to materialize, so either Trump is unilaterally backing down, or the ceasefire is imaginary.
The lunatic emperor is sounding exceedingly desperate. Iranian civilians will pay the biggest & most immediate price of his madness, but the ripple effect will not spare much of the world. Brace for the dark days are ahead.

Israel has been continuously bombing Lebanon almost every day for over a year. Anyone who tells you “Hezbollah broke the ceasefire” is either lying to you, or is just so incredibly biased that their brain genuinely doesn’t register Israeli bombings of Lebanon as ceasefire violations.
5) We can still stop this war: This is a deeply immoral and unpopular war, and Trump is a narcissist who is obsessed with his popularity, which means if the American people become sufficiently vocal against it, we can pressure an end to the death & destruction. Let's do that.
4) This war will likely be catastrophic: This is the most consequential war of my lifetime (much bigger than Iraq). Everyone is "all in" b/c the region will never be the same after this, so we're on the escalation ladder, which means massive death & destruction.
3) This is a war for Israel: Trump's demands were designed to be unacceptable to Iran - a choice between complete surrender to Israel's dominance (requiring Iran to dismantle even conventional deterrence capabilities against Israel) or war. This reveals the real goal of this war.
2) This is a war based on lies: The nuclear question was already solved by Obama in 2015 (verifiably preventing Iran from ever getting nukes), & Trump's repeated claim that Iran wouldn't renounce nuclear weapons is a bald-faced lie designed to sell a war under false pretenses.
1) This is an illegal war: U.S. law requires congressional authorization for starting wars (Trump didn't seek or get it), and international law bars wars of aggression, which this was since there was absolutely no direct threat from Iran that justified military action.
