fortunately I don't have to do any more driving logs or online courses or anything (this took me a month to do last time), and I don't have to wait a week to test again last like the first time I failed. just have to wait a few days. frustrating but... soon enough.

This afternoon, I'll be taking my driver's test for the second time, y'all. THIS is the run. I'm wearing my favorite dress today and bringing my favorite tea to work with me for maximum confidence points. I'mma do it this time!! Once more with feeling!!

probably so. and then I'm like "ah man it's 10 PM, I wasted my whole day" and then I'm not happy with myself. and then it restarts the next day. it's such a vicious cycle, I hardly get anything done nowadays (or at least, not in a reasonable timeframe) that's not super super urgent

trying to be nice to myself when I feel like this is really hard because I feel like I should be able to Just Do It but everything is hard. art isn't as satisfying as I want it to be. I can't do commissions forever. I need to reset bad habits.

I really liked doing zine work back when I was applying to them because doing page illustrations forced me to push my artistic skills more, but I find I don't really have time or energy for pieces that large in between commissions trying to stay afloat. wish I did though

I'm confident in my artistic ability usually but I don't think any of my art is particularly portfolio-worthy or even print-worthy... not enough backgrounds or interactions or interesting compositions. a lot of characters posing in voids though. def something I want to change about my art tbh...

I bought a fan for my fursuit head bc I figured I'd want one for my new suit (she's way bulkier than my last one). Fan works! Gotta make it stick better to the roof of my mouth somehow tho. I put the battery pack and switch inside my bodysuit since I got pockets in there. Nice setup, all in all :D

Two gryphon adopts by Dynamo-Deepblue, inspired by Sonic and Shadow the Hedgehog, with slim athletic frames, medium sized wings and feathered crests that resemble the spikes of the aforementioned characters. The left gryphon, "Dark Flame" has a dark brown coat patterned with red tiger stripes with a light brown face and underside. His eyes are amber with a grey raptor beak. He has a ruff of white feathers around his neck and white tail feathers. He has a crest like that of a sulphur-crested cockatoo that resembles Shadow's spikes, and a lion's tail also with stripes with a red-orange tip that looks like fire. His wings have the same red-orange color scheme. The right gryphon, "Bright Sound", has a cobalt blue coat with a lighter blue ventral and darker blue spots like a cheetah. He has a large crest of feathers on the back of his head resembling Sonic's spikes, a tuft of feathers that come to a point on his chest, and short tail feathers, all of which are blue and tipped with green and yellow. His wings possess the same color scheme. He has red eyes, a raptor beak and a cheetah's tail.
