@chrisgeidner.bsky.social Legit Q, what is the most productive way to deal with Ilan Wurman being invited to speak at my law school? Ignore it, publicize his extreme views, etc.?

moscow, idaho has been valiantly fighting off his bullshit for a long time now as he tries to take over the town through business ownership, politics, and any other way he can. it ain’t working because those folks have a visceral reaction to him and his church, for a reason
Lord, just got a notification that Ilan Wurman is speaking at my law school. Event hosted by the Federalist Society chapter of course.
The original allegations about Brock Lesnar in the complaint were one thing.
But the stuff in the new Janel Grant affidavit? Where — I won't get graphic, you can read it if you want to — he expressed a specific intent to violently injure her?
Fuck that guy.
This is extremely not fair
A lot of people at the time credited Manu with being the only interesting thing to watch on the Spurs. Duncan is probably a bit underrated even now because of the “boring” narrative. That is not A’ja at all.
she's such a badass
Shameful, the NFL doesn’t expect leaders to be very responsible it seems.
I see Dan Dakich remains an absolute shitbag
If this actually happens, it may rank as the single most corrupt act in the history of American politics. I cannot believe this is even under discussion.
Leaning into the positive side with the assumption that Ogwumike or Plum will be signing in Minnesota next year.
How concerned should a Lynx fan be that Collier’s deal is only 1 year?
I was right about Musk using taxpayer money to fix this problem but I didn't see him using SpaceX to get it done.
If you paid taxes for 2025, you likely paid:
$124 — school lunch & nutrition programs
$49 — diplomacy to prevent wars
$19 — USPS
$19 — Federal Aviation Administration
$18 — national parks
and
$4,049 — weapons and war.
These priorities are hurting us all. We need change. #TaxDay
Ari Melber's show put together a supercut of an 8-minute Trump rant about snakes that raised concerns about his mental wellbeing
I worked for a progressive City Council member in Frey's first term and when my boss would ask for basic details on police and the budget during Council meetings (in 2020!), the mayor would refuse and once even likened him to a baby for asking questions. Frey eventually just stopped showing up.
this is a very basic tactic to use present votes in close floor votes to make it look like the other side’s fault. republicans let massie do his thing, still had the votes to pass the bill and knew a democrat had to vote with them to force a motion to reconsider. lot of people fell for it again
Bluesky has activated the Emergency Pervert Filter, which makes the site basically unusable for known perverts. This filter was activated hours ago. Anyone struggling to use the site should notify their local police. Thank you!
It’s a telling indicator of media desensitization that the US government’s ongoing program of murder on the high seas—which according to the perpetrators has killed fourteen (14) people this week— is no longer a subject for much serious or sustained news coverage.
Just had a full body matrix-style memory of what it Feels Like to be in Louisville Kentucky. people who have not lived in Louisville Kentucky cannot understand this
This phenomenon is most pronounced between April 16th and the first Saturday in May, it is undeniable. I still get that feeling every year.
“Douglas MacArthur is not walking through that door. Norman Schwarzkopf is not walking through that door. And if they did, the the be old and gray. The negativity in this town sucks.”
UK has been linked with a lot of names because every time UK reaches out to someone it is an opportunity for someone to create content and sell ads/subscriptions. That creates an impression of a scattershot approach and lots of rejections. UK’s staff needs to do a better job managing info.
The Herald-Leader has done a really nice job offering more measured coverage of the transfer portal than some…other UK places. This reflects something closer to reality: UK needs to fill spots, has a lot of targets, but it’s unclear how good of shape UK is in.

Mike Vrabel deserves to be fired for being wildly unprofessional, he should have known better
Sure thing, let me find out the best method.
Professor Mark Gordon at Mitchell Hamline does a great job teaching it, I’d be happy to facilitate a connection.
I’d wonder what a system would be like where a party ran on a platform based on what they could achieve with a majority, got that majority for a 2 year term, and then had to defend their performance. A modified parliamentary system, but retaining checks and balances of US gov’t.
Kansas, UNC, and St John’s come to mind right away as lacking pieces pretty badly. Arkansas is in a similar spot for the frontcourt it seems.
