I know nothing about it! I saw that this was the last Saturn game (in the US I think, anyway) and decided to boot it up. Would the/an anime be a better place to start?

I'm guessing you are already recording, but still: I played the heck out of this when I went to my cousins' house as a kid. All I played was Sonic and Road Rash, but I thought it was the coolest thing in the world...
...and then our parents bought us Game Boys and Pokemon. And, well,
I think @retrohangover.bsky.social said something similar, that it's a party-style of a game! Totally agreed. Maybe if Fighting Vipers would've been more successful we would have seen this in an arcade in Yakuza by now 😅

I've been using an Azeron since ~October. I was skeptical at first, but I have to say: it's a *damn fine* peripheral. Basically every point is adjustable to your own hand, and each key (30) is mappable to any keyboard, mouse, controller, or macro action.

Just did an episode on this recently! It's such a fun game. Definitely better than its rep as a "marketing plot" might suggest.
Absolutely. Killin'. Soundtrack. It goes INSANE. Personal favs are Ending A, Pai's Theme, Dural's Theme, and of course Sarah's Theme.
I treated a grief simulator like a productivity app. Maxed the meter, optimized every day.
The game let me do that on purpose. The confession before the realization.

That's Blue Reflection: Second Light! It's the second game (and technically fourth in the series?? Honestly idk) in that duology. The gist is "magical girl JRPG and depression" haha. Full disclosure that I've not played much, but I really liked what I did! And KILLER soundtrack!
Personally I really liked Squall as a protagonist...but I know that's a kind of unpopular opinion
