I keep thinking about how Gov Abbott had plenty of funds to fly and bus migrants all across the country but couldn't come up with a million for a flood warning system.

We shouldn't need a Black Women’s Equal Pay Day, but here we are. Still underpaid. Still undervalued.

66 cents on the dollar means we lose thousands every year, for doing the same job.

Over a lifetime? That’s hundreds of thousands gone.

Pay Black women. Period.

And just like that, the ‘No New Wars’ people are all-in on a new war. Proving yet again that they really believe in nothing other than what one man tells them to believe today. Which could be different tomorrow. The very definition of a cult.

We’ve bombed Iran. And dismantled our joint terrorism task force. And sent a third of the FBI to help ICE. And gutted the National Security Council. And a drunk guy is in charge at the pentagon. And our intelligence allies probably won’t share intel with us. Because people couldn’t vote for a woman.

Weird. I feel like I just saw this happen. Deja vu?

Just watched the “Titan” (submersible) documentary on Netflix. My take away? If the average woman was endowed with even half the confidence of some of these over-confident male ‘visionaries,’ the US (& probably the world at large) would be in a much better place. ☮️ 🌍
