Had a great time sight-reading four new pieces today! In amongst finding notes and rhythms we had a go at playing tremolando; a string technique which produces a shimmering effect: perfect for the opening of Mussorgsky’s Dawn of the Moscow River from the opera Khovanshchina. #adultbeginnerstrings
