He’s a fan, that’s clear. And that’s a bummer. The more I’ve seen about Andy Weir from his press junket from PHM the less I like. The Martian & PHM are some of my favourite recent novels and they had amazing adaptations. But he’s clearly a flop & I’m not in a hurry to read/see Artemis because of it.

Have been doing my yearly Halloween binge watch that’s mostly horror musicals (Rocky Horror Picture Show, Phantom of the Paradise, Repo! The Genetic Opera and Little Shop of Horrors) with a couple non-musical campy numbers (Death Becomes Her and Lisa Frankenstein) thrown in for good measure.

We just had Subrina on the season premiere of Trek Master Quiz. She mentioned being sick, but I’m shocked by this news. This is devastating. She was always absolutely lovely when I interacted with her in the fandom. She will be deeply missed.
