Should I just bite the bullet & buy an Elgato capture card? While I was very happy with my stream from Sunday, I wasn’t very happy with the video quality. I know I don’t stream often, but I feel like it’s often enough plus I use it for other purposes (recording, Discord, etc) to maybe justify it.

Played Overwatch on the new computer

Was a bit unstable out of the box, but after adding a launch option to resolve what I think was a memory leak, it ran perfectly smoothly at 200+ FPS

Now that’s gaming

I am gonna continue to play off-stream, bc this game is too good to restrict myself like that, so if anything special happens off-stream I will get everyone up to date at the start of the next stream.

I wanna progresspost about editing my Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream demo video because I feel like it

Currently at ~14 minutes of edited video from ~1h10m of raw footage

Not saying it definitely will be added, there’s plenty of reasons why its exclusion could be intentional—Scunthorpe problems, custom art being impossible to check, no online connectivity, the filter would probably be circumvented anyways—but don’t be surprised if a day 1 patch adds a filter.

Just a thought gang: I wouldn’t get too comfy with Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream’s lack of a text filter. It’s so inconsistent with Nintendo’s usual family friendly policy that it kinda feels like an accident.
